So, people should just ignore large-scale attempts to rip them off, and instead blame everything on themselves?Let’s say someone buys a home out of their league. They’re barely able to hold on to it, but then the bank engages in a borderline move to foreclose. The “99%” might put all the blame on the bank. The “53%” would put all the blame on the homeowner, letting the bank get away with large-scale borderline activity. Both groups would be wrong and would be supporting bad policy.
This effort also ignores the fact that not everyone has what it takes to be an entrepreneur. Most people need to work for someone else; that’s just reality.
The “53%” are not only not fully in touch with reality, they’re implying that the millions of unemployed are simply unemployed due to their own personal failings. They’re implying that the millions of unemployed are simply lazy welfare cheats. Instead of pulling together and helping free up jobs (such as by working for more immigration enforcement), all the “53%” can do is demonize their own fellow citizens who are struggling through tough economic times.
P.S. On an ironic note, the *parents* of many of those protesting probably pay more in taxes than some “53%” leaders. Or, at least they would if not for all the loopholes that those in the “53%” leadership sphere have carved out for them.P.P.S. Read up on one of the top 53% leaders, Erick Erickson.

Click here for a pro-American jobs program that Robert Reich will never tell you about. We could get hundreds of thousands of Americans working and have a net fiscal savings, but Robert Reich and other members of the DC establishment are too corrupt to pursue that plan. Getting jobs for their fellow citizens is at a lower priority than other things.

Click here to read what Robert Reich won’t tell you about immigration and entitlements. Please go to one of his public appearances and ask him about that on video, then upload it to video sharing sites.
